Alexander from Finish Line diagnosed the cause to be at least partly some leaf blockage in the gutters causing build-up of water and ice on the roof. He and an assistant came and spent several hours on a very cold day clearing the gutters and sealing up roof leakage spots. I very much appreciate their expertise and proficient attention to this problem.

Comments: I had a roof leak during big rainstorm. Finish Line called me literally seconds after i entered my HomeAdvisor inquiry. They came to look at my project that day! They sent me several photos and explained exactly what needed to be done to repair the leak and sent me a quote at same time. They returned to fix the roof. They again explained what they found when they removed old shingles and did a very complete job of fixing and also took preventative measures to address another key corner which i was concerned about sort of belt and suspenders approach. They also checked entire roof for other potential issues and also the other seals around roof vents, etc to make sure all was good. They worked several hours sending me photos as they went. They did not charge me any extra Extremely thorough and professional. Highly recommend them. I will definately call them again when its time to re-roof

Comments: Had seepage in one dormer after the large snow storm this past winter. Not knowing what type of damage was causing the problem, I needed someone to climb up onto the very high steep pitched roof to investigate. I was also needing a solar-powered attic fan. Finish line roofing crew went up there and took pictures for me of what was going on up there and discussed what they thought was the most probable cause. They gave me an estimate of what needed, and when they could get the job done. They were able to start within a day or two. I asked them to make the repairs, and once the shingles were off, to assess if the underlying plywood was rotted to let me know . They were honest and showed me pictures of the underlying wood, and didn't repair or charge me for things I didn't need. They arrived on time daily, and cleaned up the debris that was created and hauled it away. They were courteous, and worked hard. I would recommend Finish Line. Alexander is very reliable and his crew was very professional.

Comments: Alexander Santa answered my initial Home Advisor request within minutes of the call. By the next morning, he had done the estimate and tried to seal a leak in my cracked skylight. Unfortunately, as I had feared, this long term leak was past sealing, having been sealed too many times before. He worked with me to find an affordable way to fix the problem and we settled on removing it and patching the hole. Although this was a small job, he went out of his way to fit me in and it was fixed as soon as the weather allowed. Throughout the process, he was amazingly professional, courteous, and kind, working around my needs. He did the work on a weekend, so I did not even need to miss work, which really helped. The work looks great and last night's snow did NOT leak in! He and his crew even took away the cracked skylight and all the other mess. I cannot recommend this company and Mr. Santa highly enough.

Comments: I thought they did a great job. Alexander was very responsive to all of my questions and pulled all of the necessary permits, which I reimbursed him for. The re-roofing turned out to be a much bigger job than anticipated. Basically the quote included most everything, and the price was extremely competitive. There was an "unknown" factor in terms of how much plywood would be needed to replace the rot underneath the roof. The price included three sheets of plywood. There was so much damage on my home that I needed 10 sheets of plywood, adding another $950 to the price. Alexander suggested that I replace my skylight as well because it would be a bad situation if it started leaking with a new roof. (In fact, it was an old skylight that had already leaked, so that was an easy decision). The roof actually had 3 layers of shingles, which took a lot of time to remove. All in all, it looks great, happy I made the investment, and extremely satisfied I went with Finish Line Roofing.

Comments: I can't give these gentlemen enough positive feedback. The appointment was set-up quickly. The gentlemen quoted a price. As it turns out, the roof had more damage than expected and he was here over two days, versus the couple hours originally anticipated. He stood by his estimate though. When is the last time someone did that? I actually tipped the gentlemen an extra 10% (I've never ever done that before) because I knew he really bent over backwards to do the job. He also didn't do a half-way job. He did the fix the proper way and he did the work for the extra damage the proper way. I'd give the guy 10 stars if I could. I would definitely rehire. I know this is an over-the-top type of positive review, but really these guys went above and beyond to solve my problem.

The tech cleaned my gutter that's 30 ft up in the air, and caulked the gutter joints that might dripped. He also hammed down a vent joint that started to separated from the asphalt roof lining. He also blew away all the dirts that's came down from the gutter cleaning and my driveway was super clean after the work. Overall experience is very good.
